A Day Out with Thomas!

On Saturday, May 28, 2011 we went to see the "real" big Thomas the Train Engine in Heber, Utah! We had a great time! My mom and dad took us to see Thomas the Train. It was a little trip for Spencer and Josh. Spencer was in Heaven!!! He LOVES Thomas the Train and had so much fun on our little outing! He was especially in heaven when he found the little trains to play with and had them all to himself! What a fun day we had with Thomas the Train! :)

 

The Last Day of School!

Andrea and David had a good day on their last day of school, May 26, 2011 at East Meadows Elementary. They signed yearbooks and Andrea had people sign her shirt! She loved that! After school was over we headed up to my parent's house to spend a few days up there. It was good to get away for a few days especially since Mike was out of town. :)

David's 2nd Grade Program!

On May 10, 2011 David had his 2nd Grade end of the year program. This is David with his 2nd Grade teacher Mrs. Warenski. He had a good year and did very well in 2nd grade. David also did a great job in his program. Dad, Grandma and Whitney came to see him in his program along with me, Spencer and Josh. It was a fun day. I can't believe he is already finished with 2nd grade!

Andrea's 4th Grade Program!

On May 24, 2011 Andrea had her 4th grade end of the year program. My mom, Whitney, David, Josh, Spencer and I saw Andrea's program. She did such a great job on her part and singing the songs. I can't believe Andrea is done with 4th grade! She is growing up so fast! Andrea had a good year and made some good friends. Here is Andrea with her teacher Ms. Johnson. :)

Joshua's Preschool Program!

On May 17, 2011 Joshua had his preschool program. Joshua went to the Little Wizard's Academy taught by Mrs. Amber and he LOVED it! He had such a fun time and learned so much from his teacher. He did such a great job singing the songs and participating in the program. They sang some of the cutest songs! After the program Mrs. Amber gave each of them a Diploma and a bag of treats to take home. We also got to take some pictures. It was such a great day, but a sad day too since it was the end of preschool for Josh. After his program, Mike and I took Josh and Spencer to McDonald's for lunch to celebrate the good job he did in preschool! :)

Andrea's Irish Dance Competition!

On May 14, 2011 Andrea participated in her first Irish Dance Competition with her friend Daisha at Jordan High School in Sandy. She was very excited and did a great job! She got 2nd place and is doing great at learning how to do Irish dancing. It is pretty tricky, but she is catching on very fast! We are so proud of her! Grandma and Grandpa came to see her perform and after her competition we went to eat breakfast at Village Inn with them.

After Andrea's competition, we went downtown to see the Joseph Smith movie on Temple Square. We had a great time as a family being on the temple grounds and enjoying each other's company!

Spring Piano Recital!

On May 13th I had my Spring Piano Recital. Andrea and David played in the recital and did a great job! We are so proud of them for practicing hard and memorizing their pieces for the recital. :)

Playing Basketball!

For Christmas my parents gave us this basketball hoop that our boys have loved playing only they are a little short for it, so Mike had a brilliant idea...yes to put them on top of the recycling bin! :) Yes they loved it and had a great time together! They were playing at the end of April and it was still very cold outside - so they are in the garage! :)  

Silly Spencer!

Spencer loves to be the center of attention ~ since he is our 4th child...So here he is at his best... :)

Our Kids Pictures!

Each year I try to update our kids pictures and so this year we decided to go to the Provo Temple and take their pictures. We went on April 15, 2011, the last day of Spring Break, to the Provo Temple. The pictures turned out great and I was very happy with them. :)

SPRING BREAK!

After our fun trip to the condo our kids were ready for Spring Break! We did a lot of fun things together as a family over during that week, but one thing we really enjoyed as a family was going to Thanksgiving Point on Wednesday April 13, 2011. Some friends of ours invited us to go with them and their family. We had a great time going to the Dinosaur Museum and Farm Country! Our kids had a great time seeing the dinosaur bones and the animals etc. We also went on a carriage ride, and our kids each rode on a pony! We had ice cream and then left to go home. :)

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day on May 8, 2011! My kids and Mike were so thoughtful and did so much for me! I love them all so much! Andrea made the Happy Mother's Day sign around the fireplace and all of my kids helped out so much with breakfast and helping around the house. It was a great day! :) 

F.H.E.

On Monday, May 2, 2011 we had a wonderful Family Home Evening! It was Spencer's turn for the lesson, so Dad helped him a little. Spencer sat up on top of our ledge and Mike read the King Benjamin Speech as our kids were under a "tent." They loved learning about the scriptures in a fun way! We had such a great time!
