Our Family Vacation!

Well, this has been one busy week full of doing laundry, packing and getting ready to go on our big Family Vacation! We are all excited to go to Disneyland on Saturday! This will be our kids first time going there since Andrea was 3 years old. That is the last time we went. So we are pretty excited to go and take all of our kids especially since they are a little bit older! We will be back on May 8th, so when we get back I will post more exciting things that have happened in the Findley Family! :)

Church History Museum!

We had a fun family trip to the Church History Museum on April 17th. We were planning on just going to go to temple square, but we ended up at the Museum instead. :) The kids had a great time on their Pioneer Scavenger Hunt and in the Children's Section of the Museum. They were able to play with all sorts of things, draw pictures and touch the things that were there! We had a great trip!

Welcome Home Dad!

Mike came home on Friday from South Africa and we were all so happy to see him! He gave each of our kids a few things from South Africa which they were really looking forward to, but they were more excited to have their dad back to play with! :) He brought home a soccer ball from the World Cup in South Africa!

Two Little Buddies...

Joshua had a fun week with having just Spencer to play with at home since last week was Spring Break and he played with Spencer, David and Andrea all week. On Friday I looked downstairs and saw Joshua playing the piano with Spencer. It was a pretty cute sight as you can see...

Andrea's Haircut...

Andrea also had a great day on Wednesday when she got her haircut. She had been thinking about cutting "side bangs" for about 5 days and was pretty excited about it. I was hoping she would like it after not ever having bangs. Her haircut turned out to be pretty cute. You can't really tell in the picture because her hair is pulled up, but she likes it a lot! :)

David lost his tooth!

David had an exciting night on April 13th he lost his 2nd tooth! He was so excited because the tooth behind his baby tooth was coming in and it was bugging him so bad. So he pulled it out just before he went to sleep. Before I turned out his light he said, "Mom I wish I could get this tooth out." And I said, "Well, just keep wiggling it." and the next thing I heard when I turned out the light was – “Mom my tooth came out!” He was so excited – especially that the tooth fairy was going to come that night!

Our Little Climber! :)

Last week I left Spencer and Josh in the Kitchen for no more than about 2 minutes and this is what I came back to. Spencer our climber! This was the first time he had done this and he thought he was so funny climbing up on top of the table! Not only did he throw napkins all over the table, but brown sugar was spread all over the table too, so he was as sticky as could be and of course needed a bath! Oh the joys of Motherhood! :)

SPRING BREAK!

This past week was Spring Break and the kids had a good time relaxing and being at home, but the highlight of their week was going to Pirate Island! It is a place similar to Chucky Cheese’s, but they liked it a lot more than Chucky Cheese’s. We ate lunch there and then they played in the arcade where they won tons of ticket’s to get some prizes. David hit the jackpot when about 100 or more tickets came out of one of the games! He was in 7th heaven when that happened! The kids all got great prizes and had a very good time there. We had a wonderful time during the week of Spring Break, but now it is time to get back to school and a schedule!

Spencer did not want to put his shirt on Easter morning. Dad tried to put it on, but he refused! Spencer thought that was pretty funny - since HE won!

Happy Easter!

We woke up on Sunday morning and the Easter Bunny came! The kids were so excited to find the Easter Eggs and their baskets that the Easter Bunny hid. We had a great time also watching the last two sessions of General Conference together!

Coloring Easter Eggs!

We had a fabulous Easter Weekend! It all began with General Conference. We were all so happy to relax and enjoy being together! We watched conference on Saturday and then while Mike went to the priesthood session we colored eggs together. The kids had a great time and dad was happy NOT to be there to smell the aroma of the eggs!!! :)

We Finally have a Blog! :)

Hi everyone! We finally have a blog so our family and friends can see pictures more often of our family. I hope I can keep up on it and post pictures often. :) Anyway, we are doing well and surviving this next week while Mike is in South Africa. He is quite the World Traveler these days!
